Now in addition to this my parents are divorced and I am currently on vacation with my dad and his girlfriend in New York city. Again, this is my first real trip out of my home state (even though my dad goes on numerous trips out of state), I have never been on a trip with any of my friends (I have however been on several trips with my annoying cousins), even though my dad has been planning this trip for months he never told us that his girlfriend was coming until the day before we left (he didn't even tell us that his girlfriend was coming, one of her kids did), and all the attractions I wanted to see in New York, a performance of Hamlet, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, etc., have been replaced by more child friendly events (a children's play, going to a Toys R Us, etc.). In addition to all this I have been perfectly kind to my dad's girlfriend's children, and I have not complained one bit (my dad just yells at me one I try to). And in addition to all this I have multiple tests coming up in school (I'm on a wierd accelerated program where I have a test in at least one cl every single day) and multiple clubs in my school that expect me to complete some form of work that I am completely unprepared for because I am missing two days of school to be on this trip. Recently adopted another cat...will my 3 cats get along?

So just a few days ago, my sister and I adopted another cat...he's an 8 year-old Maine Coon (aka HUGE) who is SUPER sweet and we felt bad that he was having trouble getting adopted so we decided to take him in...we have 2 other cats, an 11 year-old and an 18 year-old (who's still healthy but a bit senile), both females. We brought the cat home knowing that obviously the cats wouldn't get along at first, but we were hoping they would all get used to each other in time. Our 2 females were scared of him at first, especially because he's sooo big...but now the tables are turned and the new kitty is TERRIFIED of the other 2 cats despite being twice their size, especially the 11 year-old. He has never hissed at any of them or tried to fight them, at first he just ignored them when they hissed or growled and even tried to be friendly and now he's always nervous...will they ever be friendlier to each other? How do I solve this dilemma?

I'm in the process of loosing weight and i'm very unstable with my goals. I do moderate-high intensity exercise 5-6 days a week (1-2hrs) and love it! I'm just not motivated to change my way of eating (i overeat), but i don't do any fast food or pop kind of things. I'll go steady on loosing 10-12lbs over a month and then if i'm not in the mood to loose weight i'll usually go back to my old ways and gain it back. It's a repeated cycle(and i do keep exercising during that period). I know how to eat healthy, and have a meal plan created by my nutritionist that i do like, but don't follow consistently. It's not a diet..it's very real...i'm just not sure how to get my mind straight. It works like this: as long as the feeling stays, that's how long my weight loss stays off. I know that i want to fit in smaller clothes and look better. I'm just stuck in a comfort zone and in a "gave-up" mode and can't get out of it. I don't know when i'll make the decision to change my ways...and start over. I'm so sick of gaining lbs right now and yoying so often. PLEASE HELP!!!

I will try to keep my story in a nutshell. Last year, as a junior in high school, I met this sopre girl in my honors chemistry cl. I never really talked to her until around the second semester of my junior year. I never really knew her until we started talking over Myspace from time to time. Over time, I found that we had a great deal in common and that we are very similar people. So after becoming her friend for a little while, I started to like her as something more because of our compatibility. National Guard vs. Part time job to pay off student loans?

Lately after receiving my bachelor's I decided to take a peek at how much I have to pay on my student loans. It was to the tune of 60k interest included roughly. I do plan on continuing on to receive my Master's in Social work but with this amount of debt and the Master's degree isn't going to be a walk in the park I decided to check out the National Guard since you hear on the commercials that they have loan forgiveness programs that will pay up too 50k or so and they'll pay full tuition since I am in New York that's the deal. But when you break down the benefits. Say for the sake of argument that I do in fact receive the full 50k of the loan repayment and help fund school. You will have to enlist for 6 years to get that high number so the math (50k/6=8,333.33 per year before taxes) and plus the tuition for a master's degree. With a part-time to full-time (working summers) position you'll be able to make 17,000 - 20,000 a year. How do the "benefits" the guard pushes worth it when you could earn more as a civilian and don't have to risk going over seas? Please no bashing and comment's well you shouldn't join if you are doing it for the money. But you should not do any career if you do it for the money. I could live my dream and flip burgers all day but then I would just be getting minimum wage and have a shitty life. so you have to think if what you do actually pays. Sorry this is long but the details are needed thanks!

Having a near meltdown over electing for C Section? Please help.?

Let me tell you about C Section. I didn't have a bowel movement until I got home. Its makes you constipated that's why they give you softgels when you go home. Now, you have a choice, you can go with the natural way and have fear of being ripped due to big baby and take your chances this not happening(Pray hard), and make bowel movement worse due to the rip, or go the easy way and have the CSection. Now, it's not for everyone, had mine due to emergency labor but to eliminate problems theres good that comes out of the C Section. Recovery on the other hand is difficult but not due-able if you have some help. You can't bend down for awhille and pick anything off the floor but you can move around at least. There is a longer healing process with CSection some as long as a year. I have no sensation in that area for a very long time. My daughter is 21 months and only now do I notice more sensation but nothing life threating. I would be scared to have it natural due to big baby and knowing my chances of ripping and having to go thru that than a having a CSection. You can still go to your appt without doing the procedure and talk to them about it.

If your in-state tuition state is Virginia, I bet you could easily get into the major universities of the surrounding states. UMD, Ohio State, WVU, Penn State, etc., though you would (obviously) have to pay more to attend, which is why you don't have to have as high a GPA to attend out of state. You could probably go to most in-state schools in VA too, VT, JMU, GMU, William & Mary, etc. Probably a good chance with UVA too. Good luck with whatever you do.

Best eyepieces for fast Newt?

Guys. I have a 12" F4 Newt and my cheap eyepieces are not cutting it, although they were ok in my 8" F6. I'll be replacing them soon and any input from experienced observers would be welcome. How often does your baby nurse?

My baby is almost 5 weeks old and he wants to eat all the time. If I can hold him to every two hours I'm lucky, but usually he wants to eat every hour and a half. This has been going on for the past 2 1/2 weeks. If it's a growth spurt, isn't it a little long? Prior to this "spurt" of whatever it is, he'd stretch his feedings to every 3 hours and that was great because he'd eat for a half hour and then I'd be free to do other things. Now, however, because he eats so frequently, he only eats for about 8 or 10 minutes at a time and before I know it, it's time to eat again. Is this normal for a newborn? How frequently does your baby eat and for how long?

I cant connect to my wireless router in a different room, even with good signal strength?

I have a linksys N router, one of the newer ones (3 months old). I can connect wirelessly in the house pretty much anywhere even if im at the other end where i have 1 or 2 out of 5 bars of signal strength. I sleep in the apartment on the garage, less than 50 feet from the router and i get atleast 3 bars for signal strength, but everytime I try to connect to it it fails to connect. My neighbor on the other hand, who I get maybe 1 or 2 bars of signal strength I can connect to no problems. My neighbor also has only a 3 Mbps connection and I have a 20 Mbps connection. My baby cries so much when shes tired?

I know it's hard to hear your baby cry when they are so small. But, what worked for me and lots of other people is the cry it out method. As long as she is fed, diaper clean, and only crying because she is tired, why don't you lay her down and let her learn to comfort herself to sleep. It is very important for them to learn how to do this. If she starts to cry too long or hard you can go in every few minutes and rub her head or something to let her know you are still there. But only for a few moments, then walk out. She WILL go to sleep. It just may take longer than you want the first few times. Once she gets into the habit of comforting herself to sleep it will be SO easy. My daughter started sleeping through the night around 3 months, after I did this..

I also had a 1600.00 feposit and there were some things broke, such as doors, no screens, some rot from aquarium in small area, but I requested a walk through, he did not comply, but I was also paid in full so it was not about bavk rent. I did feel maybe a couple thousand dollars because my son fell through two sliding closet doors in hallway and they needed to be rteplace and 4 doors, and 3 door frames, and the stove was cleaned by professional, i had my own refrigerator. basically the landlorn the day after i moved out had his relatives who was the people when there was a problem come and fix things. there was a horrible water problem, where he had to replace my bathroom floor 4 monts before i was evicted and yet he tore that all up and everthing in the house from floors, cabinets, ceiling fan and lights, all cabinets inn bathroom and kitchen, charged me for carpet and i had lived ther 10 years, charged me for painting, he charged and helpo my mother resposnible for remoldling his entire duplex and i got scwered and no one would let me get a word in, they all wentinto the conference room with judge, i was left in court room with baliff for over 3 hours, and was cut off talked out of jury trial which i felti wanted, and i could not believe allt his. my mother is wealthy, 84 years old, could not be here for the pre-trial, and everyone was totally against me, and they called my mother 3 way, and within minutes, case closed and i was upset and turned around and left. never was i able to say anything. what can I do? this is unfair and unheard of, i feel they were in kahpotz and i am so upset.

I just changed a sink in my guest bathroom and now I have no water pressure in the hole house . This is how i did it 1st I turned off the main water out side to the house then I left the water running till no moe water was coming out of the sink then I turned off the valves under the sink because I replaced them as well then I replaced every thing turned on the main then turned on the valves under the sink . Now I also replaced the hoses and one of them is leaking so i have to take it back but I just turned off the valve under the sink and it stopped leaking but now my shower ,toilet & all sinks have no pressure & the shower starts out dripping then in about 5min will work its way up to were you can finally shower what should I do ?

I need to help a relatively non-IT literate friend configure various settings on their Vista machine. We have a Mac and an XP machine. I gather I can use Remote istance to do this but don't know how to explain to him on the phone how to configure his Vista machine to allow this. According to a page I found on the Net, he needs to Open Remote istance by clicking the Start on, click All Programs, click Maintenance, and then clicking Windows Remote istance.
