What are some public universities within 7 hours of Northern Virgina that are a good fit for a 3.6 GPA?

If your in-state tuition state is Virginia, I bet you could easily get into the major universities of the surrounding states. UMD, Ohio State, WVU, Penn State, etc., though you would (obviously) have to pay more to attend, which is why you don't have to have as high a GPA to attend out of state. You could probably go to most in-state schools in VA too, VT, JMU, GMU, William & Mary, etc. Probably a good chance with UVA too. Good luck with whatever you do.
