Commitments other than marriage?

Sorry but you are "not" going to like my answer, Marriage is a commitment, You want the style of commitment, but not what goes with it. You have been together for the last 2 years, what are you waiting for? Who cares if everyone you know has a bad marriage. You are not married to them. My wife and I have been married for the last 20+ years and yea we have had good and bad times, but that is what married is. We have Friends that have been married as long as us and some that did not make it 1 years, But guess what? None of that had anything to do with us. We control our life not our friends. In the end it is up to you both. I guess I am just a little old school and think that if more people thought about marriage and what it really means, maybe some people would slow down and work it out.
