Why do Christians slavishly support Israel?

They claim it is because Israel is the "only democracy in the middle east." They have managed to suck BILLIONS of dollars out of our pockets to finance the rogue state of Israel. They tolerate AIPAC's constant spying and stood by and parroted Israel's line after the attack on the USS Liberty, calling the Captain and entire crew liars for recounting the deliberate, close up attack on them which lasted two hours. They sit there in the UN security council solely to protect Israel from the consequences of their ethnic cleansing campaign, to veto any actions the rest of the world wants to take to protect Palestinians. I firmly believe Christian support for Israel centers around their own religious fanaticism, and it turns them all into dual loyalists who cannot be trusted to hold public office. First, they hated Arabs well before any "terrorism" occurred anywhere near the west. Second, no Christian fanatically supports the "only" democracy in, say, Africa, Asia or any Island anywhere.
