What do you think about this hypothetical change to the playoffs?

Instead of making the top team in the division play the lowest team, why not let the top teams choose their match-up? For example, Sharks would probably not have chosen the Flames, and Dallas would not want anaheim... so why not give #1 the chance to pick first and so on down the line? So Sharks could pick lets say, the Aves... then Dallas picks who ever they want etc etc until all the match ups are decided.
