Isn't it weird how songs from 10 years ago don't seem really dated?

On the other hand, isn't it weird how dated some newer songs sound? Seriously, go listen to anything by Disturbed or Linkin Park...it's like they're stuck in a late 90's nu-metal rap-rock time warp, where anything to do with flames and tribal designs still rules.
