it is the question of projectile /trajectory ....the range is just 2 m....v..=velocity required ....angle ..is 45 ...for maximum range .....so v*2 /2g ...= 2m...calculate v ....and a power motor ...having same ...giving motion ..to the ball [may be placed in cup ...if just mechanical frame has to be made ...it will be like old stone throwing mechanism ...used in wars ...
